Where's the snow for Christmas? Why, it comes in a can This is the time of year When some things get out of hand

Instead of the turkey You've stuffed the cat 'Tis the night before Christmas And you forgot the Christmas wrap

Greenpeace is banging loudly On your front door Saying "You've destroyed the forest, To put a tree on your floor!"

The relative's are all coming And you know there'll be a spat It's always part of Christmas You can't escape from that

The lights on the tree Blew out Christmas Eve And Santa's put on weight So he's stuck high in the chimney

And Starts Christmas Day There's a rumble on the stair Is the house falling down? Nope, Just the kids everywhere

All presents have been unwrapped The paper covers the floor Presents vanished underneath Wrapping half way up the wall

The stockings had me very muddled They hung on the chimney abreast no longer were the kind you wore Were made from felt or plastic at best

Despite it being cold outside The kids disappeared out to play The relatives only came once a year But somehow still manage to overstay

Lunch of course was way too much We ate until it was all gone Sang some songs, fought and joked 'Til finally the relatives stumbled home

So much planning we'd all put in Suddenly Christmas was ending The kids strewn about the house Asleep, exhausted, soon the day a memory

But not to worry about Christmas Now that it's all gone As the New Year is coming Just in time to worry about the next one!
