9 January 2013

Hello again, and today is Tuesday, January 8, 2013. If you've ever seen an old signature, then you know what one should look like. Quill on ink on parchment writing one's name in a single artistic flourish of a feather. Every signature has its own pattern to it. Usually the first letter is created with legibility, but then the latter letters more often than not are just rhythmic scribblings. But that adds to the beauty of the inperfect beast. Now days, kids in school aren't taught cursive, in fact I believe that my year was the last year to be taught. My worry now is if people will stop using signatures. And more so if people stop appreciating their beauty.

As always, ZenMercury.
