17 October 2012

Hello again, today is Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Now just right out I'm going to say that if you talk how you write, then you're doing it wrong. But, if you write how you talk, then you can make it work, but don't overdo it with excessive slang words such as "wassup" or "brah". Those are to be left in a closet that contains other slang like that. This closet, at least for me, doesn't contain swear words. I just put them in a box marked: "Caution. Use Sparringly" because if the page is littered with the F word or even bleeped out versions like f****** b*******, will be wiewed as annoying. If you want to write all poetic and flowery, you don't talk like that in everyday life, or at least if you're like the average person, you don't. If you do then people think you're deluded and strange. This applies only applies if you are not an author or other type of professional speaker. They can talk however the hell they like.

As always,

ZenMercury, Keep calm, and write right, but speak bleak.
