20 October 2012

Hello again, today is Friday, October 19, 2012. I'd imagine that if you live in the western world, that you refer to the Muslim god as الله or as we transcribe it, Allah. We don't really need to do this, but we do to reassure ourselves that we are not "them", even though its not bad to be a Muslim. It can be strange that we use the Arabic for Muslims but we don't use Hebrew for referring to the Jewish god, or θεος(theos) and deos for the pantheon of Greek and Latin gods. Since we do this because of extremism, we can guess that if an extremist cult came up, we would call thier god by thier proper name not by the common name "god". Also just to be clear, there are other religions which we use the gods' proper names like Scientology's Xenu.

As always,

ZenMercury, Keep calm, and let's deal in absolutes with names we call deities, all proper, or all common.
