Hello again, today is Monday, October 22, 2012. Today at school we learned, besides other things, about the lost colony of Roanoke Island and different theories as to how it vanished. The different theories were presented, then we were told to write about which one we chose to be the most believable. That class got me thinking about Roanoke and the theory I chose: English settlers moving to Croatan Island. But it also got me thinking about other things, and I started to wonder if we all are really just clueless settlers of the Earth that will either have to adapt and move to our own Croatan, or survive amongst ourselvs and our fellow humans. Just like the settlers of Roanoke, we will only know as soon as our last stride in a direction is taken, and the first stride in the other begins.
