14 November 2012

Hello again, and today is Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Just the other day I had caught a small, one-day virus and felt a tad ill. Now I wasn't throwing up or anything, just a fever and an aching stomach. Later on I went to get myself some tea, making it as I usually do. Then nearly finished with my cup, I remember that with any small ailment my body will react badly when tea is added. So much for a calming cup of Earl Grey. Now while on the topic of viruses I read the other day that sometimes oler viruses on older computers could mix code and "mate". This seems scary to me, not because we have the prospect of this being updated to newer versions of computers, and to a lesser extent not because it could create computer virus evolution. But instead, what worries me is that this would blur the line of life even further creating what could possibly be the first step in creating a living, breating, cybersphere if you will. On top of that, how are we certain that we aren't in one ourselves? These types of questions are difficult to answer, but are the ones we should be asking in our age of rapidly growing electronic development. And these types of questions should be answered before they are pushed out of the limelight by the latest and greatest development in technology. These things will be viewed as the definitive questions of our electronic age. How have we been pondering them?

As always,

ZenMercury, Keep calm, and the cybersphere could be a hidden reality, of today.
