3 December 2012
Hello again, today is Sunday, December 2, 1012. Yesterday I took a high school entrance exam that allows you to get into an admissions pool. Reading on, the admission pool is basically a lottery. Not that many people that aren't part of this would find it interesting, but, on the day of the lottery I imagine that small spheres spin in a bowl, much like bingo. Just five numbers in a row and you're chosen. I wonder who has to draw the balls and if the aspiring students can watch. If so, I imagine it would go something like this. «First ball: 1; So far so good. Look at all of these people here. For now they're mortal enemies, I don't care if I have to step on them to get through. Next ball: 3; This is going good. The people look nice and all, maybe I can get to know them if I get in. Third ball: 1; Two more to go. I may even be their friends when I get in, but for now I can't let my guard down. Fourth ball: 6; This is in the bag. Might as well start looking for a locker. Fifth ball... What? One? That was supposed to be a zero... I'm not getting in? What now?» Or at least that's what I think would happen. So I try to remain humble and upright so if I don't get in I won't feel so dissapointed.
As always,
Keep calm, and don't count your chickens before they hatch, and definitely not before they're conceived.
