There's something of the tomboy In your blazer and your corduroys And it's time to settle down after these years You've been running from the wildwood But your favourite toys from childhood We're the action men And pink, plastic toy car

Should have listened to your mother 'cos girls can hurt each other And there's ice behind those eyes So pretty green You hunk you've always missed her Now that you've gone and kissed her But there's just no way Of knowing what she sees

A seaside bed and breakfast In hindsight might seem reckless There's only oh so far That you can hide From long nights lost in Soho And the early morning lo-glo And 'real life' in suburbs With your bride

Pin her down, hold her tight She's your glitter kid You'll be her banker for the night Fleeing afar In your little pink toy car
