Attired in a black woollen top and black cotton skirt with a bag on her arm and willpower absurd for someone her age square by square tired face, tired shoes
Past the fronts of grand terraced houses - window on window step by lolling step - The Old Lady of Bath, with stride unfailing runs her stick down each of their railings
