Humpty dumpty sat on a wall,
Precarious it was it was hard to fall,
He watched the sun set, and fading light,
The coldness grew as he sat through night,
He woke up with a start, twigs snapping quite near,
Suddenly his body froze with fear,
A baseball bat delivered three hard blows to the head,
Poor smashed Humpty dumpty was definitely dead,
He fell to the ground, whites and yolk began to spill,
He grew attention from the men coming over the hill,
They desperately tried to piece him together,
But nothing would work, he was gone forever,
