We are still fading away
Fading away from time

We can start or save a new era
And escape from this state of mind

He who is watching will watch us there
With the most curious of timing

He who is watching will know we are here
He will send them all, fighting

The creatures, we've never seem anything like them
As they tear the guests to bits

Our mothers have managed to run out
And then there's father, throwing a fit

The green eyes turn to red
As the beasts slowly find us

But I am not a proper lady;
So I'll gladly fight if i must.

You have lent me your family sword
As i lent you mine

The blood spilt through the battle
Shall let us be forever entwined

The ceremony for those lost
Was regretfully rather small

Because most of them
Werent going to be remembered at all

But I should think our names
Will be written on history

When the wind blows our corpses 'way
As if we were undead gypsies

As if we'd stayed too long
In this spot where we'd lingered

The gold wedding bands
Still on our fingers

Love's not the point of this battle
Just merely an effect

A way for us to cope
To heal the scars on our arms, faces, and necks

No, the main goal is survival
To give revival to this place

I don't even care if one day
History books contain my face

In the days of old
When we took everything seemed so easy, not at all new

Would you have ever expected
The only ones left would be me and you?

I feel 'twas my duty
I had to avenge those who were lost

I had to revive our home
From the nuclear Holocaust.
