Midnight Blue Chapt 13

Chapt 13 part 1
Richs POV

I sat in my car, humming.
"You know," I say to myself. "Maybe I have some loose bills laying around or something." I got up from my seat and low and behold! Id been sitting on my wallet.
It took a second for that whole registering phase to go by, and I facepalmed. "Duh, Rich."
I grabbed my phone and called Leia. No answer? Weird. Maybe it died or something. I texted Leia what had happened so atleast shed get her text. I hopped out and filled up my tank with gas, only leaving the car shortly to go pay for it. And get a pack of gum.
I stuck a piece of gum in my mouth and picked up the phone. "Huh." Still no answer from Leia. Shrugging off the thought that she may have decided not to come, I pulled out of the gas station and started driving through town to the mall. It was probably 30 miles from Shryingsville, but the speed limit is 60, so it doesnt take a hella long time to get there.
I parked outside of JcPenny, and walked in- and quickly through- to the main part of the mall. I picked the coolest looking store and walked in.
Id managed to get some shirts and jeans and a pair of sneakers before my phone buzzed. I took it from my pocket, seeing Leia had finally texted me. Smiling, I opened the text, but stopped. My face fell as I read the text over and over:

I ran out of the store, only grabbing my wallet, phone and bag. Oh my God, whats happening to Leia?! We didnt even get to have the first date. I hopped in my car and sped 75 mph back home and pulled into a familar driveway. Knocking on the door, Jonah answered, shooting me an awkward look. "Umm, hi?"
"You need to help me." I could just hear my voice cracking. "Leia's in trouble."
