richs POV

Jonah scoffed. "Uh huh, rich. I believe you."
I gritted my teeth. "If you love her as much as I do then youre going to help me."
"I dont deserve her! She hates me anyways!"
"JONAH. Do you love her?"
Jonah blushed. "Yeah."
"Then come on," i replied hastily, walking to my car.
"Fine," he groaned. "Oh my phones ringing," he pulled out his iPhone. "Um, yeah. I think youre right."
"Im getting a call, hang on." A restricted number? I put it on speaker. "Yello?"
"Do you want Leia." the rusty, groaning voice droaned out. Jonah and I glanced at each other. He gulped and I could see sweat on his forehead as I turned the speaker up.
"Who is this?!" I demanded.
"Rich! Help! Just go to the-"
"Shut her up!" the man yelled. I heard Leia's muffled screams as Jonah and I winced. "Do you want the girl?!"
"Yes!" Jonah cried before I could.
"Come to the old amusement park outside of Shryingsville. We will.... Make an agreement, Richard."
"Fine. We'll be there." I replied snappy and hung up. I sped out of Jonah's driveway and in the direction of the amusement park.
Silence, and then:
"Why did you choose me?" Jonah asked.
I clenched my teeth. "No one loves her as much as you and me. Well, theres mr Nolan. Hes out of town though."
"Can.... Can we just forget what happened at the amusement park?"
"God," I whispered. "Yeah. I dont ever want to speak about it. Ever."
"Its not that Ive hated you all these years," Jonah continued. "It was just that I thought wed get in trouble for not turning it in."
"Jonah!" i exclaimed. "We didnt even know what it was until four years after. We were only six at that time."
Jonah sighed. "If you say so."
I pulled into the parking lot. "Where do you think they are?" I asked Jonah, putting on my sunglasses.
A scream was heard to our left.
