Midnight Blue Chapt 15

Leias POV

I was purely disgusted that Jonah chose now to try to win me over. Im not sure if Ill be able to get over it, but I mean, he was my first love after all. I of course probably jad feelings locked away for him. But I didnt want anything to do with him. Thats disgusting that hed try to have sex with me now of ALL times. Such a pig.
I picked up the phone, dialing Claire. "Hey!" she chirped.
"Can you come over? Its super important," i pleaded.
"Getting in my car right now."
When Claire got to my house, I told her the whole story, including what Jonah tried to do afterwards.
"Oh my God!" she hissed. "What a pig! Thats terrible!"
"I know," I sighed. "I dont wanna talk about Jonah OR Calvin."
She laid down on the bed on her stomach. "Lets talk about Rich then!"
I laughed at her remark and enthusiasm. "Hes such a sweetheart," i gushed. "ive totes got a crush."
She chuckled and yawned. "Its getting late. I think Im gonna catch some Z's."
I laughed. "Alright, me too."

Two hours later Claire was sound asleep and I was wide awake. I dialed Rich, stepping out of the room, not bothering to shut the door in case Claire woke up. "Hey," he answered the phone groggily. "Something wrong?"
"Meet me in the park," I whispered softly.

He got there before me, probably because he lives closer. "Is something wrong?" he asked as I walked closer.
I didnt even stop to answer before I walked into his embrace. "No." I responded. "I just needed to see you."
He lifted an eyebrow. "What about Jonah?"
"i kicked him out." My voice was dry and my eyes were starting to get teary. "He tried to get me to have sex with him."
"Oh my gosh," Rich whispered. "Its alright," he whispered to me comfortably. He kissed the top of my head. "Its all going to be okay."

I woke up in the park on the spinning thingie, still holding Rich. I dont really remember anything that happened at this point, the things we spoke about. I nudged him before I realized it was only 4 AM.
"Huh...?" he murmured sleepily and opening one eye. He smiled when he saw me. "Good morning.
"Its 4 am," I told him. "You should get going and so should I."
He nodded as we both stood up and he hugged me. He looked into my eyes, his bright blue ones sparkling beautifully.
"im not saying this because I absolutely need you. I just want you to know. I love you and Im here for you."
I smiled. "Love you too."

When I came in, Claire was sitting on the couch with a cup of tea. "Where were you?"
"Morning walk?" I lied. "Something wrong?"
"Come see whats on the news, she murmured.
