What we've been told?

Time slips away
Life leeches out
I still pray
Yet I'm stricken with doubt

How far
Can we go
Who we are
Can no longer grow

Hell on Earth
Heaven above
What are we worth
For our weak love?

We stand alone
Yet with a full world
We're frozen to the bone
And forced to a curl

But I'll stand here
Till the ground shatters
What have I to fear
If nothing matters?

I'll fight as I can
Holding together
To the last man
Always and forever

Something written in the spur of the moment. Doesn't really reflect how I feel right now.
