We are the Forgotten
Lost in the distance
Unable to see
Still yearning to be

We are the Silenced
The masked and the shunned
Swiftly tossed aside
Hearts torn, still gaping wide

We are the Unnoticed
Read between the flat stark lines
Hear our violent screams
Echo through empty dreams

We are the Broken
Doomed from inception
Diseased and disfigured
We cannot be cured

We are the Hollowed
Scraped cleanly away
Why do we follow
The ones so clearly astray?

We are the Stolen
Bound up, gagged
Taken from this life
'Freed' of our strife

We are the Unknown
Crying out each day
Searching for an answer
To this social cancer

I'm sitting, listening to silence Time seems to hollow out time A war is going on, but no sign of violence.

Silence is whats left. Where violence leaves the bled; In tortured zones, In thoughts alone, No signs left to be read. Just expressions left on faces, Where nothing need be said.

What I See

In this world, I see no man is clean. Souls sullied by envy corruption and greed. Hearts blackened by what has gone before. Minds twisted with hate and bodies left raw.

On Our Side

Why are we hiding When the sun is this blinding. Are you scared of the night Or too weak to fight. Why should we leave When there's nobody to deceive. Are we running together Or apart forever.
