I stood there, staring at the sparkling waves under the moonlit sky. I was alone - I was always alone.
I felt so.....empty. I took one step forward, and then another and another until the tips of my toes were touching the water. I started to run, my feet taking me into the mysterious waves and then I found myself going under and sinking. I couldn't get back up to the surface - but I didn't want to either.
I saw my life flash before my eyes - Mom screaming as Dad beat her yet again, my bedroom door openining and Dad coming over to me and doing not so nice things to me.
But all of a sudden I was flying, whizzing up higher and higher and finally, I felt happy.

@Alys124 haha that sounds exactly like me! I don't show anyone ANY of my poems and I show everyone on opuss. And noone has a clue (because if they touch my phone they dieπ)
