Sidewalks talk to me,
They ask why they're littered (they're stressed).
"Why do people throw trash on me?"
I reply that it's the squirrel's mess.
Squirrels chat with me,
They ask why we cut down trees.
"I lost my home last year!"
I answer that the trees have diseases.
Trees call to me,
They cry about the weather.
"Why do we lose our leaves?"
I say it's Mother Nature's error.
Mother Nature whispers to me,
She's questions why she's dissolving.
"Why is everyone so mean to me?"
That's the one question I can't solve.
