The Survivor

~This is just a little poem I wrote to motivate myself. I hope, maybe, that it can motivate others too.~

When you think
You've been through it all:
Look around and see that
You're still standing tall;
Your journey hasn't ended; you've experienced all the tests
There's still more to come but you'll triumph over the rest
As whatever life throws your way you will throw it back completed,
You may again be knocked down
But you will never be defeated.
You've time and time over proved your worth,
And the future is yours
As you succeed on this earth.
Your heart is like steel, your spirit is a rock -
Things may erode you but you are living against the clock.
Life may have been a battle but you've come out winning,
You're always a survivor.
You've been so since the beginning.
