Eyes. Closed. Mind asleep. Breathe. Deeply. Counting sheep. Slip. Away. Into the dark. Dream. Nightmare. Glowing spark. Run. Chasing. All alone. Walk. Happy. You're at home. Cry. Screaming.
I was sound asleep. Rain dropped gently upon the window. I peeled my blankets off slowly and tried to emerge from my comfy nest. The bed grew. I inched closer to edge of my mattress. The bed grew.
Through the darkness my consciousness crawls;. Inching my way along crumbling, decrepit halls. Each door leads to another exactly the same;. I sense a light and I'm drawn in like moth to flame.
