Fears

Her heart was beating so irregularly that she was finding it hard to breathe and her palms had gone clammy. She had promised her friend, her best friend, though and she couldn't go back on that. She wasn't one to go back on promises anyway but this one she couldn't do. Her best friend was moaning though, she was making her do it, and so were her other friends. She had to do it. This one thing she had to do but she was so scared. They were getting closer, much closer to the end of the queue and she was worrying even more.

Questions were going through her mind, why am I doing this? What if I get hurt? What if my shoe falls off? What if we get stuck?

But her friends were right there and they were comforting her, telling her it was going to be okay. And they got to the end of the queue and they sat down. Her best friend was on one side and another friend on the other. They set off and most of the time her hand was in her friend's and the loops and twists and turns scared her...
When they pulled up to the platform at the end her friends were calling her name, talking to her, and making her feel so much better. But the first thing that came to her mind was "That was awesome!!"
