"what does this mean?" She was asking.
"To the people who know me?" I replied.
She nodded slightly.
"Nothing" I replied which earned a earnest smile from her.
"Okay" was her smiling reply. There was a slight pause, she was thinking everything through.
"What about you?" I asked.
This puzzled her. "What about me?"
"What does this mean to the people who know you?" I asked.
She smiled so brightly now, more than I had ever seen before. "This gives them hell" She grinned then started laughing.
"Not your mum though?" I asked.
She shook her head. "Not my mum, she loves it. My dad is the one who hates it" She replied, still smiling. It was brilliant, she was brilliant, and no one was going to keep us apart. No one would ever keep us apart and we knew it. And this brought us joy ... So much joy.
