Him!
The lanes twisted and turned for miles, there were only two houses, mine and his. His curtains were closed, mine were open. His garden was tall and crowded, mine was neat and cut. Our houses were complete opposites. On this cloudy, eerie day I was alone, and he was somewhere. I couldnt see him but he could see me.
I was scared but curious of what was happening in the opposite house. Silence came from nowhere and everywhere as I walked to the kitchen. I looked outside the window and saw nothing. Then lightning struck and he appeared out of nowhere.
I stumbled backwards and fell on the floor. Then quickly crawled round the other side of the counter so he couldnt see me, but I felt like it was in a play and all eyes were on me.
I peered back to see if he was still there, but he was gone nowhere to be seen. I stood up slowly, terrified. I walked carefully, as if I was walking on broken glass. Lightning struck once again and I heard the sound of glass breaking and the power went out. I could hear my heart beating louder and louder I wanted it to stop encase it gave me away.
Somebody was walking upstairs, I could hear them. They walked into the room I was hid in, they saw me I knew it. They walked towards me, it was him. The lightning struck one final time, I screamed, a knife in the air, blood and silence once more.
