Flicker in the darkness,
A faerie in the haze,
Lost lover, so obsolete,
Struck down by midnight's gaze,
Wander, lost by moonlight,
Warm heart yet oh so cruel,
Icy cold and elegant,
A frosted woodland jewel,
Crown of thorns and brambles,
Eyes, violet and dark,
Sing a song of mystery,
Put out that glowing spark,
Skin, like silk, cold, porcelain,
Her heart, sought after prize,
Princes came from lands unknown,
But soon met their demise,
She's alone, in waiting, still,
Looking for someone true,
And if you close your eyes tonight,
And dream, it could be you.
