You're not the only one
To bar your teeth at my flesh.
One has already bitten me,
A sly old crook called Death.
I'm red my darling, for danger,
Red for The Serpent's eye,
If you slash through my ruby skin
Beware my dear, you'll die.
You won't find crisp, white juicy flesh
Just maggots, bones and pall,
Only beauty on the outside
Not the inside, not at all.
I'm only meant to harm you,
My dark Mistress told me so.
So flee into the forest again
Go, my pretty, go!
Turn your head of Hoth's fine locks,
Don't fall under my charms
For if a prince won't come for you
You'd best stay out of harm.
So to your forest friends, sweet girl
To evade your cruel fate
Strange beauty, I don't want to be your death
Go, before it's too late.
