Soft beeping,
Chemical air,
You shouldn't be here,
Life's unfair,

Nurses whisper,
Flowers lie,
Beside your body,
Please don't die...

Gentle eyes,
And greying hair,
How will I cope,
With you not there?

Oxygen tanks,
To keep you alive,
Your life is fading,
You can't survive,

News came so sudden,
Tears fell fast,
Although we knew,
That life won't last,

I didn't want to drop the rose,
Upon your coffin, cold,

That still is left untold,

I didn't want to feel the pain,
You left behind your soul,
