Kids to bed now adult time
Snuggle up with a glass of wine

Not much on that I can see
Enjoy the peace it doesn't last
Adult time goes by so fast
Morning will be around so soon
Gone are the days I sleep till noon.
Glass is empty, tiredness creeping
Eyes are heavy, I'm almost sleeping.

Getting there, one step at a time
Woke up this morning, Hadn't a clue where I was, Didn't know if it was the weekend, Or if I needed to go to work. Brain all fuzzy, Eyes full of glue, Took quite some time, for my head to compute.
