They cheer me up when feeling blue
Creating an Opuss of which I am proud
Pressing 'post' to be read by the crowd
Enjoying a night out with my best friend
A bloke upon whom I can depend
Meeting my mum and deeply missed family
They are so important in defining me
A cuddle and kiss from my better half
She always knows how to make me laugh
But what makes me happiest and this will always be true
Are my children and all that they do

Getting there, one step at a time
First of all writing something like this is completely out of character, this is for two reasons. 1. I'm a stereotypical male who never shows his feelings to his friends. 2.
I lay down in the grass and look up into the dusky sky. I feel as if I don`t have anyone in this cruel world anymore. I don`t like all this cruel hatred.
My day has been long my day has been hard. My journey back home was long, I am tired. But when I get there, my heart misses a beat. At the greeting I get from the kids at my feet.
I've been chasing heartache, Running right up on its heels. Reaching out barely touching, The arguments that causes it yields. I've been chasing heartache, Sailing it to the end of the world.
Six years has past since that day now. The day when my whole world was turned upside down, when everything fell apart, when every little feeling filled my heart at once.
I've been called pretty. I've been called ugly. I've been smart. I've been dumb. I've loved often. But mostly I've lost. It's hard to believe things are so different. I've lost huge parts of my life.
I can only take you seriously when you actually mean it. Inserting bad words really doesn't help unless you say it to my face.
