As the rain pounded heavily on the window, I decided it reflected my mood. I mean, how could she do this to me? I opened up my heart to her and she just took my long, heartfelt paragraph as if it were a lie. I knew this was going to be the last real conversation I would have with her for a while. As my life changed in 4 minutes, I gained respect for the idea that something as little as a butterfly flapping it's wings could have a devastating change on everything. So here I was, on a windowsill, my tea had gone cold, sat in old clothes. Sat on the windowsill my mind drifted to the day when everything changed.
I was walking home from school with blistering speed as it was one of those days when I couldn't wait to get home. Not for bad reason. I had gotten the girl I had liked for 2 years number. It was magic, but the worst day possible. She wrote it on my hand in the morning, and straight after, I had cooking, which meant I washed it mostly off. After I rewrote it and got on with my day. All day it had rained torrentially. So I rushed home to put it on my phone.
That night, I had the best call. From her. From Katie Windsor. The call was amazing, we talked about bands, movies, we seemed to get along brilliantly. I couldn't wait to make this into something more...
next part coming soon.
