The Tales Of McCoy's Bones:The Door

Who can it be now. For gods sake, they have been knocking all the damn day. My name is Colin, Colin McCoy, a former Pilot, before that, a detective. Then the wife left me, took the whole damn planet. All I have now is my bones. When I was a detective, I work with the world renown Dom Dagger. He wouldn't be so famous without me, it happened on that damn day. The fourth of April 2004. 04/04/04. What happened on that day? Pah. Im surprised you don't know, it was all over the newspapers. "Dagger stabs the big case". It wasn't even him. It was me. It should've been "McCoy Cracks the final problem". But no, because he was out the building first... He got all the glory, all the money, all the fame. What did I get? My wife left me for him, my home taken, my possessions taken, my friends go to him. I am now sat on a windowsill looking over a harbour. Been here for years. The boy before me disappeared, the boy before that, people don't know, apparently he went off the roof. But enough about that. On that day. It was the phone that gave us the first scream. Literally.
We picked up the phone. It was a child crying down the line. We heard a click, and a scream. Then the line died along with the child. We analysed the clip, for any clues, but it was a mistake of Dom. He fell asleep on the equipment, pushing the rewind button, and there was a message. But a fragment. It said P. P? What did that give us you say? It gave us a clue. That the remaining calls, will contain the rest of the word. But that means. The next word. The next death. There was only one person who we knew would be sick enough to do that. Erutrot. A former graduate and professor from Oxford. We never found his real name, every record seemed, scribbled, classified. But we knew his way of crime. Just read his name backwards...
