A shower of rain,
Over head it came,
Drops bouncing off the hard floor,
Drenching me right down to my core.
The first lightning bolt hits,
A tree that carefully sits,
It catches light from the spark,
And leaves its fiery mark,
I run and run,
From the damage that has been done.
I look for my car key,
It must have escaped me,
Another lightning bolt strikes,
A place my mother hikes,
Thankfully shes safe at home,
Not free to hike and rome.
My keys are in the car,
I see thats were they are,
They sit in there slot,
Thats when it starts to get hot,
I turn around to see fire,
At least I'm not a cryer.
I start to back away,
Everything turns grey,
Im scared by the flame,
This flame is defiantly not tame,
I think of my mother,
And my sweet little brother.
I start to run,
And think 'my life is done,
This is the one,
My life is gone,
Say goodbye to your family and friends,
This is the one that ends all of your ends'.
The smoke sends me into a haze,
The hole world seems like a maze,
I stop,
With a hop,
But the fire dies down,
And while my mind clears I frown.
The rain killed the fire,
Whoever says a storm is unsafe is a liar,
It saved my life,
With its rain that falls sharp like a knife,
Thats when the lightning bolt hits,
It sends me up in electrical fits.
I fall to the ground,
With a thump sound,
My body stif,
I would be in less pain if I had fell of a cliff,
My body black and scared,
And very very charred.
I died that day,
In that sad sad way,
I miss my mother,
And my sweet little brother,
I died within the space of a hour,
In that thing that was more than a rain shower!
