The Tsunami

A malicious battlefield where all will die,
Flimsy boats treated like slaves,
A dangerous game of dodgems,
In, a rushing wall of water caves.

Water meanders through cardboard caverns,
Like a child lost from it’s mother,
Mountains watch on in guilty remorse,
A torrent of tidal waves towers.

Buildings collapse into children’s lego blocks,
Fragments which once made a home,
Waves engulf rooftops like a blanket of hatred,
A mischievous life snatcher roams.

People are screaming “Fire! Fire!”
As a charge of flickering flames emerge,
Mothers are crying for their drowning loved ones,
As their carcasses cascade away in the surge…
