Heavy Heart

She sat amongst the flowers her head spinning replaying the scene. Her best friend, longest friend, had deceived her. Her heart felt heavy and she felt lost. How could her best friend do such a thing to her after all she had done when her friends parents went through the divorce? She lay back on the grass her head cushioned on the soft grassy flowers. Her friend had hurt her deeply. She imagined the scene she had seen at school. Bethany, her friend, laughing at her befriending the populars the ones who pick on her everyday....
There was no going back. She's gone from my life.
