Lazy

Lazing about putting off homework...
I tell myself " I'll do it after food. I've only got to do one.."
I tell myself " I have plenty of time! One piece won't take long"
I tell myself " it's only half eight I have enough time to do it"
At half nine I complete it.
But at half ten a text from a friend alerts me to the fact that i have indeed lacked to complete a vital essay from the strictest of teachers where second chances are laughable and you do it or fail. Rushing about to get the work done I search my bag only to find... The work missing.
I tell myself " Shoot. I've left my book in the class..."
