Journal Entry 3: Slenderman

A few days later, or was it the next day?, either way I went to school. I didn't want to tho. I wanted to stay home and research more on this Slenderman. He was slowly taking up my life. All I wanted to do was sit around and know more about him. As I walked in I looked for Jewel but she wasn't there. I just thought she was at home sick, I wasn't really worried. I should have been, but I wasn't. The day sort of seemed to drag by, but finally, it was over and I was released to go home. The first thing I did when I got home was take my dads old ford pick up and go see if Jewel was at home. Jewel's parents were divorced. She didn't live with her dad because... He's straight up crazy and she didn't live with her mom because even though her mom was in her thirties, in her mind she was in her teens, so Jewel lived with her nanny and papa. Her nanny and papa were the nicest people I'd ever met and I loved them like family, I still do. As soon as I started the engine in that old pick up truck a feeling swept over me. I had gotten the feeling that I was fixing to see something I didn't want to see. I quickly backed out of the drive way and raced to Jewel's house. When I got there I noticed Jewel's car out front, which was a huge relief. I released my grip on the steering wheel. A slid out of the truck and walked up to the house. I knocked on the door lightly and after a few minutes nanny opened the door. "Jadelenn, what a nice surprise!," she said,"won't you come in?" "Thank you," I said as I took a step inside. "Is Jewel around?," I asked. "Yes, she's in her room she's a little sick tho," she answered with a frown. "That's ok I won't be long," I said,"I just want to tell her about what all she missed at school." "Ok," nanny said. She turned and walked into the kitchen. I made my way to Jewels room. I stood outside for a moment because the feeling that something was wrong was back. I placed my hand on the door knob and twist. The knob was abnormally cold in my had.
