Depths Of The Deep Blue V

Night was beginning to close in.Luna and James were heading for the heart of the cave.Spiders crawled up the walls and blood trailed along the floor.Some sea-water was at the bottom of the cave and you could hear grumbling noises that sounded like it came from a dangerous creature.

"I've got weapons because anything could happen to us" whispered Luna.They both collected a torch that was hanging from a wall so it could light up their path.Soon Luna and James got to a path where they had to choose to go right or left.The left path had red smoke coming out from it but the right path had purple mist coming from it.They thought red meant danger,so they took the right path.The purple smoke began to get thicker.This gas was poisonous.James and Luna began to cough but the mist soon died down.

They both began to walk further until they got to a big gap in the ground.Fire was inside the hole."What shall we do?" asked James.
"I don't know," replied Luna.They both thought for a while,but didn't have a clue of what to do so they risked it and leapt across.....

They had made it! Their life was not coming to an end.....at least today it wasn't.It felt like they had walked miles since the gap in the ground.Then they came to another path where they had to go left or right.But there was no smoke to tell if it was dangerous or not.So they took the left path but then,out of the shadows, a lion-like creature was coming towards them.The lion was a ghostly silver,it's eyes blood-red.It put its hands to the sky and created a poisonous snake."Easy," whispered Luna.She killed the snake just before it was going to bite her.The lion created the floor to be sandy.But it wasn't sand.It was quick-sand.James was starting to sink but Luna didn't for some strange reason.
"James!" shouted Luna.And she got a stick frrom the floor and tugged it to rescue him.She eventually did but the lion got into a fit and threw Luna across the room.She was covered in blood and collapsed on the dirty floor.....
