Chapter Two
Red Eyes
Serena walked away in the dark. Caden watched her go. He turned around and started heading his way to his house. Then he got a call from his phone. "Hello?" "Caden it's me Gavin". Caden soon became confused. "Why are you calling me?" he asked. "I had to cut the date short since I saw a cute girl and I think I'll date her instead. I got her name and number". Caden rolled his eyes. "Whats her name?" he asked. "Tara" Gavin replied.
The next day,
Caden walks around the city "Hey Caden" said Serena who came out of a store. "Serena right?" he asked. Serena nodded. "I think you are cute" she said. Caden blushed. "Thanks,you are pretty". Serena smiled,"Thanks". Serene cleared her throat and tried to find something to say. She really liked Caden even though they just met yesterday. "Hey Serena!" Tara called out. Serena looked at her and then at Caden. "Uh I gotta go but I'll see you later". Caden smiled and nodded.
"He really asked you out?" Serena asked. "Yes! Gavin is like super hot! Im totally lucky!" Tara yelled. Serena laughed but she also wished Caden asked her out. "Hey isn't that the guy you like?" Tara asked while pointing out of the window. Serena nodded. Tara cocked her head,"He isn't cute...he looks ugly. Are you sure you like him?" Serena's eyes became red. When it came red it meant she was mad. "Why are you mad?" Tara asked. "Don't talk that way about him" she said. Tara rolled her eyes and took a sip of her soda. The girls then left the store. "Hey Babe,wanna ride?" someone called from a car. Tara turned around and saw Gavin. She giggled. "Sure and Serena wanna come along?" Serena looked around and said Caden crossing the street. "Nah I'm good". Tara shrugged and got in Gavin's car.
"Caden!" Serena yelled. Caden turned around. Serena looked in his big brown eyes. He was just perfect. "Hello Serena" he said with a smile. "Hey Caden..um I was wondering...would like to go out with me?" Caden smiled. He really liked her confidence and he really liked her. "Sure,I'd love to". Serena never felt so excited before in her life.
A month later,
"Where are we gonna go now?" asked Caden. Before Serena could answer she got a text from her friend Tara. Her eyes turned red as she became angry. Tara's text said that she thinks Gavin is cheating on her. "Is your e-eys turing r-ed?" Asked Caden. Serena gasped. "I got to go" and with that,she ran back to her house.
