Myself

I can't hear a word you say.
I don't care anymore.

For I am Independent,
A warrior,
A queen.

I do not listen to hateful words,
As I am the bigger person.

For I am strong,
A fighter,
A survivor.

Don't even try and bring me down
Since you wont gain anything.

For I am myself,
Me.
No-one else.

What type of poem would this be?

Don't do it. You have so much to live for. People care about you. Look at all these people who've come to see you. Why don't we talk about it. Let me help you. You have to think of your family.

Motherless.

When I was motherfull, life was complete to some extent. Being motherless leaves a gaping hole that not marriage not parenthood not friendship can hope to fill.

Is this your own poetry?

Yes, but I wouldn't say it's really about me though. :P @lubnarizvi
