Autumn Gold

Red and burgundy leaves floating gently down,
Summer no longer wears the season crown,

Autumn falls, a serene orange haze,
A burst of colour through the coloured maze,

Carnivale of nature, a celebration to behold,
Watching the falling colours, a sight set in gold,

Winding pathways, fallen through,
Preparation for winter, colourful, true,

Blackness, gone, in a rainbow of gold,
A story to forever be retold,

Sunset gleaming across auburn skies,
Never secrets and never lies,

Autumn trees, though dry and bare, stand tall,
Autumn prepares the world before the first snowfall.
