Autumn Comes Knocking.

Lush green
leaves turn to copper,
amber and gold.

Floating down
to the ground as the
Autumn wind blows.

Red Japanese
Maple trees unleash
their fiery tones.

Flowers fall,
as their stems they've
now outgrown.

Summer's departure
takes with it
springs unfolded flowers.

Darkness encroaches
early on the days
shortening hours.
