Water

Tranquil serenity, most peaceful by far,
The flickering shadow beneath the stars,

Such a brilliant sadness, wonderful, true,
Liquid beauty, eternal, ever so blue,

Lit by fires that rest in flies,
Glowing softly, a treat to the eyes,

Down below, beneath the deepest sea,
Where night and day are continuously,

Life adapts to live and breathe,
Waves of life enter to leave,

Water lives, the substance of real,
The essence of purity, to grow, to feel,

Laps around edges, through the loops,
A singular energy, never in groups,

Water is everything and everything is water,
Mother earth is life, but she is her daughter.

Slow Burn

Slow burn. Worlds turn. And yet they stay. In their place today. Times change. And rearrange. Embrace the new. When they look for you. The old will seem. Like a fading dream. They hide, they guide.

Stars

There are those that do believe. That the stars represent our souls. Our lost ones looking over us. Watching how our lives unfold. But I believe the stars. Represent wishes held in our hearts.
