Flirt with one another under heavy breath
Death teases life, playfully crude
Pausing for a breathy interlude
Can death bring life to it's side
Or will life be able to cleverly hide?
Life likes to test the boundary
Wonders if death 'can catch me'?
Death seduces with the promise
That life will be in an eternal bliss
The delicate veil between life and death
Enticing one another, who will be left?

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
The pale skin is tightened, Pulled across the shattered bones, Wrapped around the once pure veins in vain, Of shielding from the stones.
"I'm that shape in the shadows, Your worries and fears, That smog in your nightmare, The pain in your tears, I'm the thief of your heart, Your shuddering shiver, I'm that icy cold breeze, I make you...
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, Life to life and lust to lust, Soul to soul and earth to earth, From death to death and birth to birth.
Tranquil serenity, most peaceful by far,. The flickering shadow beneath the stars,. Such a brilliant sadness, wonderful, true,. Liquid beauty, eternal, ever so blue,. Lit by fires that rest in flies,.
My dear friend death My one true friend You've been with me From Start To End. The only one not to leave, The only one I've left to please.
It quickens and it slows, In opposite directions, It teases and it taunts, And it plays with my affections.
Words are my toys, that bend and do not break. Like an unbreakable sword, double edged, give or take.
There are those that do believe. That the stars represent our souls. Our lost ones looking over us. Watching how our lives unfold. But I believe the stars. Represent wishes held in our hearts.

@VikingHorn that well maybe true Hun ...it's the million dollar question isn't it?...do we go onto a better place?...I suppose I was trying to write about how life can just be gone so quickly. There are those who like living on the edge whilst there are others more cautious in life but you are are right we all die in the end...β¨πβ¨
