Smells Like Teen Spirit. (Chapter 2)

It was the day after Becca and I had the big shopping trip and I finally decided to put all my clothes away. I got at least 11 outfits. I was in the middle of putting my last shirt away, when my mom walked in saying someone wanted to talk to me on the phone. Who would want to talk at 11am?
"Hello." I said into the receiver.
"Annie..."
I didn't recognize the voice.
"Who is this?"
"It's your Dad."
"What?! NO, you'll never be my Dad. You might be my father but I'm never calling you Dad. How could you? You ruined mine and my mom's life!" I could feel the tears forming in my eyes.
"Annie, I didn't mean to. Our marriage just wasn't working out. I never meant to hurt you two."
"You never meant to hurt us?! You cheated on Mom with your boss's wife! You not only destroyed our life but also your boss's life and his children's life!" I was sobbing now. Before he said anything else, I clicked the hang up button.
"Sweetie, are you ok?" My Mom said as she walked through the door.
"No, I'm not ok. At all." I said as I jumped into my Mom's arms.
"Everything will work out. I promise, but in the mean time how about we go sit down and eat ice cream and watch movies. Let's try not to think about your father, or do you want to talk about it?"
I shook my head. I didn't want to look,hear,think, or even talk about my father. I wiped the tears off my face and got up from the couch to get ice cream while my Mom picked out a couple movies.For the rest of the night we just laid there sprawled out on the couch together eating ice cream and watching movies.
