Smells Like Teen Spirit. (Chapter 34)

"Calm down." I told Mom.
"We have something to tell you." Nick said playing along.
"Ok." She replied.
"You might want to sit down." I told her calmly. She walked over to the couch and sat down. I was now standing beside Nick.
"Ok, I'm going to get Dad." Nick said, walking up the stairs. We sat in awkward silence until Nick came down with Dad.
"Ok, what is so important, that you had to interrupt my porn?!" He said. I giggled at that. I didn't know Dad liked that stuff. I heard Nick chuckle. Dad walked over to the couch and sat down. Mom was giving him a weird look for what he just said.
"What?" He asked her when he caught her staring.
"Oh, nothing." She said like nothing was wrong.
"Ok, get on with it!" Dad grumped.
"Ok, well I'm....well I'm -" Nick cut me off.
"I got her pregnant. We got to go. We're late." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me up the stairs.
"Now wait just a god damn second!" Dad yelled.
"I knew it! This is great!" Mom said in awe.
"You got her pregnant!" Dad screamed.
"Um, yeah." Nick said.
"Get out! Now! The both of you! " Dad screamed. I just stood their in shock.
"Robert, are you crazy?! They are staying here!" Mom defended us.
"No they aren't! I'm the man of the house and I say they aren't staying here! I make the rules!" Dad yelled again.
I ran out the door sobbing. Nick followed after.
"It's going to be ok." He hushed me. Mom came out the front door and gave us Money.
"Here is 40,000 dollars to live on. Now go! Get out!" Mom said. Her mood completely changed. I took the money and gave it to Nick as Mom walked back inside. Nick and I walked to know where in particular. We just walked. We stopped in a field and lay down together as I cried into his shoulder.
