Rotting Away

Do you wonder why I scream?
Every night, everyday,
I'm just tearing at the seams,
While you make your way,

I scream because you hate me,
You think I'm worthless,
And that's what I see,
I'm a complete mess,

You hurt me, I deserve it,
You scream at my name,
I'm dying bit by bit,
While you stay the same,

Why did you kill me that day?
I still loved you so much,
And that did certainly pay,
While my mind slowly crushed,

You pierced my poor heart,
And you sealed out my air,
Removing evidence would be smart,
But did you really care?

I know you didn't use me,
You just let me rot away,
While you were abusing,
I missed the old you in every way!
