Chapter 31

There they were. John, Mark and Cathy. The first one I saw was John. I didn't think there were more of them.

" Alice, come with us. John loves you and you love him back. You choose him first, remember?". Mark was telling me this. He was a part of this whole thing from the beginning.

Then the next thing I thought about was how we were tricked to search after him.

" why? I love James. John can find someone else". I said with James standing next to me.

I thought of James , how would he fight them alone? Would we run away ?
" John, this is between you and me. Not Alice or Mark. And not even Cathy. Let's have a talk to figure stuff out so you can leave us alone". James said it in a voice I recognized. It contained fear and doubts.

" no, they were a part of her life and she is the main person we are dealing with. And it was your fault. Was it necessary to fall in love with her? Then make her love you back? And the best part is, I was married to her and after months of cheating on me she was pregnant with my baby! And you were in the middle. It was my baby cause I asked the doctors". John was telling it with anger as if he was sad that I choose James.

" Alice, she doesn't remember. It was not her fault. I was the one who saw her. And took her away from you". James said.
" yes and you were the one who helped her get a divorce and never let me see my child anymore! You are going to pay for this". John was so angry.

James wings started to get bigger and he turned to me and said;
" if not in this life, it will be in the next one". I started to cry. I thought of the chance of not seeing him anymore. The love of my life.

" John, wait. I will come with you. Just leave James alone". I said crying. The wind was making those tears dry on my cheeks a d I started to get dizzy. The world was spinning around me. And all I could think about was me without James.

" you are not going anywhere. James said to me.
" John, let's get up there now!!!!". James started to fly and John flew after him..
