Friendship & Zombies

A change decided for me
Before I could object
Callously and cruelly
Decidedly direct

Enraged I tried to stop it
Futile was my fight
Gutted I lie crying
Howling through the night

Instead of understanding
Joy I crushed and slew
Kilometres of sorrow
Lonely travelled through

My vexes needed ending
Not yet, I couldn't go
On I had to push myself
Pleading time to slow

Questions still unanswered
Riddles not yet solved
Secrets deep and hidden
Troubles never told

Until I was enlightened
Voice of foe and friend
We spoke and I was notified
'X' was not the end

You should know that I'll be back, so don't bin our friendship yet.
Z-Day cannot stop me now! I mistook closure for the Alphabet!
