I was coughing up blood and gasping for air. Marcus was shaking but he gave me pain medicine and Kayla patched me up. It wasn't a lot but I was able to walk.
"...I'm fine. We're almost there.." I spoke.
"you need to re-" Marcus began.
"No! I'm not stopping! We need to get to the plane!" I yelled. I walked on. Kayla followed and it took Marcus a minute to get over himself. I felt tears well up but I couldn't cry, I had to toughen up. Then I saw another zombie. Tears started to run down my face. I screamed and shot it down.
"I HATE THESE ZOMBIES," I dropped to my knees crying, "...th-they...took him away from me..."
