Texas Girl (Pt 29)

This one's mainly just kissing and romantic lazy stuff hehe :) short and sweet x

I woke up with a smile on my face. I bet I'd been smiling in my sleep too.
It must have been early. Around eight maybe? I would have shut my eyes and gone back to sleep again, but I couldn't. Not when Drew laid peacefully on top of me, her head on my chest and hands on my shoulders, our legs tangled together. I found my hands at the small of her back, keeping her cold body close to my warm one.
It was too difficult to shut my eyes to the perfect sight of her, hair in long, messy waves from sleep, eyes gently shut, body barely moving. The only thing was the movement of her heart beating, chest rising and falling in time with her breath. I wanted so badly to wake her up. To talk to her and see her smile at me. But she was sound asleep, and honestly, she needed it.
I slowly sat up, cradling her to my chest as motionlessly as I could. She subconsciously hugged me right around the neck, automatically making me smile. I chuckled silently to myself, before standing up with her in my arms - still sound asleep. I placed her down on the sofa, making sure she was in a comfortable position, her head on the arm rest, body laid out the length of the sofa - where we had slept last night.
The beds are so nice here, you'd think we'd make better use of them, wouldn't you? Oh no, we slept on beaches and sofas all night long.
I pulled the furry blanket over the length of her body, making sure it covered her shoulders (I know she hates it when her shoulders get cold), and went to walk away when- "Where you going?" came a soft, dreary voice from below me.
Drew's eyes were half-open and strained, her right arm now stretched high above her head. "I was gonna get you some coffee" I smiled at her small body, all tucked in and snuggly. It made me want to get back in with her. "Yeah, sure you were" she yawned. "Honestly, I was" I held my hands up in surrender, trying to prove I was telling the truth. "Weren't you sneaking out?" she furrowed her brow as she yawned, stretching her arms out in front of her. "Where exactly am I gonna sneak to?" I chuckled, not understanding the logic of her suspicion. "Oh. Didn't think about that" she giggled, relaxing her body back into a comfortable position. "I wouldn't sneak out even if I could. I love you" I smiled, before leaning down and pressing my lips to hers. "I love you too" she mumbled into my lips just before I pulled back. "I'll have two sugars" she smirked, taking advantage of my earlier offer. I chuckled softly, before going off to the kitchen to make the coffee.
I heard the soft patter of feet on the tile floor behind me, and spun around to find Drew right up close. "Are you following me?".
"No...".
"No..." I mocked her softly as she tugged on the smooth fabric of my white v-neck tee. "Your hair's messy" she giggled, running her hands through my sandy brown hair. "So is yours" I chuckled, pulling gently on a strand of red wavy hair. "I need a shower" I let my eyes slide shut, enjoying the feeling of her fingers coiling through my once-perfectly-spiked hair. "Coffee first" she smiled, before pecking my lips and walking over to the kettle. I missed the presence of her body close to mine, so I swiftly pulled two mugs out of the cupboard and put them down by the kettle, before wrapping my arms around her waist from behind, burying my head in her neck. She laughed lightly as she prepared the coffee, briefly reaching up to smooth her hand along my cheek.
She poured the boiling water and began to stir the coffee around, making little chinking noises as the steel of the spoon hit the china of the mug.
I began to hum "Marry You" by Bruno Mars into her neck, my lips brushing over the tender skin as I whispered the lyrics. It had kind of become our song. Drew giggled softly, before picking up the two mugs and walking away from me.
I followed her back to the blue living room, and collapsed down on the sofa we had slept on last night.
We sat in silence for a while, downing the mugs full of hot coffee. At the time, it felt amazing to have the warm fluid run down my throat and through the rest of my body, but I later regretted it when I felt too hot.
"I'm cold" Drew stated, nodding. I couldn't help but smile. That was her way of asking if she could cuddle with me. "You want more coffee?" I teased, determined to make her say the words.
"No".
"A blanket?".
"No".
"Hot water bottle?".
"No I want you to hold me" she blabbed, making me smirk. She blushed bright red and stared down into her lap, twiddling her thumbs. I still smirked. She turned to face the TV and flicked it on, tucking her legs up to her chest. Ok, I've teased her enough. "What are you still doing over there?" I poked her in the shoulder, making her bite back a smile. "Get over here" I laughed, pulling her by the waist into my lap. Her back rested against my chest, her head against my shoulder as I locked my arms around her small waist. "Liar. You're toasty warm" I chuckled, snuggling her into me. "I'm ice cold" she lied with a grin on her face, eyes glued to the TV screen.
We fell silent and watched the Basketball game for a while, Australia vs Brazil. It wasn't that good of a game, but Drew was engrossed in it. I soon got bored and began running my fingers through her hair, twiddling the ends between my thumb and finger. She smiled as Australia got a basket, and I couldn't contain myself any longer. I moved her hair to one side, exposing the tanned and tender skin of her neck. I moved the strap of her t-shirt and bra down, and she gave me a gentle warning look. "I'm not doing anything, I promise" I reassured her as she mirrored my position, legs crossed on top of mine. She allowed me to continue and turned back to the game.
I picked up where I had left of, just about to kiss along her shoulder. I did just that, making her giggle and shrug me off nervously. "Stay still" I whispered, knowing I was distracting her immensely. She did as I asked though. I repeated my actions, pressing my lips to her warm, bare skin. She began to fiddle with my fingers on her stomach, locking them with her own and leaning back into me.
I kissed up the slant of her shoulder until I reached her neck, and continued the routine as I worked my way around to her jaw. The whole time she stayed rigidly still, tense an taught in nerves. I willed for her to relax and enjoy it. "Trust me" I breathed in a laughy tone as she pretended to continue watching the game. She breathed deeply a few times, before letting go. She let my body support hers, my hands keep her steady and lips caress her skin gently.
I kissed slowly back around to her neck, and decided to go one step farther as she seemed to be enjoying it. I latched my lips onto the hot, sensitive skin just below and behind her ear, sucking and softly nibbling there. "What are you doing?" she giggled, suddenly nervous again. She's so innocent. It's adorable. I took my lips away and brought them round to her cheek, pecking her there "Nothing" I chuckled, playing up my own innocence. "You were giving me a hickey" I could see her biting back a smile as I pulled the straps of her t-shirt and bra back up, laying my head back on the sofa. "Maybe" I muttered, playing with her fingers. She giggled gently, nervous at the thought.
I know I've said it all before, but her innocence is the cutest thing. She's so... Sixteen. It's adorable. It just made me want to hug her and kiss her. "Texxy?" I whispered in her ear, my voice husky and deep. "Yeah" she whispered back, not sure why we were whispering. "Kiss me" I let my lips brush over her ear as I spoke, tickling her softly. "I can't" she said quietly, smirking. "Why not?" I breathed. "Because I'm in an awkward position".
"Then move from the awkward position".
"But it's comfy".
"You can get comfy when you're kissing me, now come here" I laughed, before lifting her body briefly up off of mine, turning her to face me and placing her back down in my lap. "How can you do that?" she fathomed.
"Do what?".
"Lift me like that".
"You're really light" I shrugged.
"No, you're just strong".
"Babe I'm a tick" I chuckled, glancing down at my body. "You are not!" she gasped. Aww. She doesn't think I'm a tick. "God I love you sometimes" I chuckled, before pulling her lips down on mine.
Our lips brushed in a deep, affectionate kiss, keeping our bodies close as we pulled back every few seconds, turning the deep kiss into loving pecks.
I swear I jumped out of my skin when I heard the sound of somebody clearing their throat.
"Did you hear that?" I asked Drew cautiously. She nodded solemnly. "Was it you?".
She shook her head "Was it you?".
I copied her previous actions.
None other than my Mother's voice filled the room. "No, it was me". We spun our heads around, seeing my Mother standing in the doorway of the kitchen with a large smirk on her face, sunglasses high up on her head.
I didn't even notice the toddler holding her hand. "Di Di!" Drew suddenly exclaimed, abandoning me on the sofa to run and scoop India up into her arms.
What? Mom? India? Here? On my holiday? What? This was supposed to be for me and Drew. Alone time. Not me, Drew, my Mom and India.
The three girls laughed and joked, smiling and hugging as they greeted each other.
Ah crud. This is gonna be tough to get out of.
