Hope you like it! The next few will be more interesting, I promise! :) x

Drew's POV
Apple Acres was a small, quaint little park with an ironic name. However, for what it lacked in size, it made up for in beauty.
Large green apple trees were growing proud and tall everywhere you looked, the apples so rosy red and delicious you could pick them right off and devour them in one. The grass was lush and green, rich yet had recently been finely chopped, as the smell of cut grass filled the fresh air.
Around the grassy centre was a grey concrete path, leading off into the wilderness for a good afternoon walk. In the very middle of Apple Acres, was the most glorious, magnificent water fountain I had ever seen. It's statue swirled and spiralled out this way and that, and the finished piece looked almost like a swirly ice cream cone.
Justin pulled up in a parking space around the acres, looking at me for my reaction.
"Apple Acres? Are you kidding me?" I giggled. He's so not from here. "This is the fabulous outing you wouldn't shut up about all morning?" I laughed softly as Justin continued to smile proudly. He turned the keys in the ignition and the engine died. Justin slipped his black ray-bans down over his head, pearly white teeth exposed in a grin. "Yeah. We're having a picnic". Oh wow. I couldn't hold myself back. I had to laugh. I giggled uncontrollably in the passenger seat, holding my stomach it hurt from so much laughing. "Don't laugh. I'm serious" Justin chuckled at me, prodding me in the rib as he took his seatbelt off.
"Justin, I haven't been on a picnic since I was five years old".
"And why not? I've been going all around the world for six years and I've still had time for picnics".
My mood immediately dampened. "Maybe I never had anyone to take me". Justin's smug smile dropped when he realised I was talking about my Mother. Bad memories whizzed through my mind. All the times she said we could go shopping together or get lunch and just chat. She bailed on me. Every single time.
Justin's voice hit me hard, and knocked me out of my thoughts. "Well, now you have me" he smiled again. He's so perfect. He makes me smile.
We clambered out of the car, and within ten minutes, we had everything we needed - everything that Justin had sneakily packed into the boot of the car before I was ready this morning. He's a smooth criminal.
The park was pretty empty, so there were plenty of spots to choose from. We went for one just to the right of the fountain, in part shade from an apple tree, but a small patch left for the warm sun too.
I amusedly watched as Justin set out a blanket and put all the food on the shady side of the tree. He then fell down on the blanket, legs crossed and hands behind his head. "Justin, what are you doing?" I giggled. "I'm having a picnic. Care to join me?" he padded the empty spot next to him, and I giggled again before sitting myself down.
"Well what do we do on a picnic?" I asked slipping my Aviators on.
"Lay down. Relax. Chill out... Be in love" he smiled at me, wrapping an arm around my waist to pull me down beside him. I instinctively snuggled up to his side, placing an arm over his torso and hugging him tight. I followed his gaze, and found he was staring at the fluffy white clouds in the sky.
"There's one that looks like a bunny rabbit" he spoke up.
"Oh, very original. Why is it in every movie they do this, they always see a bunny rabbit?" I sighed softly.
"Good point. Wait, I see a tree cloud".
"That's the actual tree".
"Oh".
We chuckled softly, before Justin abruptly turned over on his side to face me. I giggled embarrassedly as our faces were so close, and I could feel his warm, minty breath brush over my skin, and send tingles through my lips as I imagined tasting his.
As if reading my mind, he placed his lips down softly on mine, slowly but surely building it up into a deep, more emotional kiss. Our tongues entwined and began to dance, softly caressing every inch of my mouth and lips. As we pulled back, Justin gave me one last lingering peck, before I spoke.
"You taste like toothpaste" I whisper-giggled gently.
"So do you" he replied.
I suddenly felt the need to look ahead. Justin felt it too, as at the same time, our heads turned to face the fountain.
In front of us stood three kids. One little girl looked about six, holding a three year old girl in her arms. The other boy must have been somewhere in between.
Even though they had differences in age, they all wore that same jaw-dropping expression, eyes wide and eyebrows raised over what they just witnessed.
"What were you doing with your tongues?" the boy asked inquisitively.
Oh god. We've scarred them for life. They're gonna go home and tell they're grandparents all about how they watched two people tie tongues at the park.
Thankfully, Justin spoke before I could. "Um, I was giving her mouth to mouth. She wasn't breathing".
"Yes she was" the little girl nodded like a know-it-all.
"Run along now little kids" I fake smiled, wishing they would just drop the subject and go and... Do whatever it is young children do in parks like this.
They skipped away joyfully. Careful, your plastic halo just might snap. As I watched them run off down the trail, Justin said something absurd:
"You wanna go mess around in the fountain?".
"What?".
"Let's mess around in the fountain" he repeated simply.
"In it?".
"Yeah, in it" he chuckled, pushing himself up off the ground and holding out his hand to me. I cautiously took it, letting him pull me up with ease, but still not ready to say yes.
"I don't know... What if we get caught?".
"By who?" he laughed.
"Park rangers?".
"Do you see any?".
"....No".
"Neither do I, now come on baby girl, to the fountain!" he chuckled in a heroic voice, before taking my hand and dragging me away from the picnic.

I squealed like a total girl as I jumped out of the fountain, my bare wet feet touching the warm grass as I ran back to the picnic blanket, glancing over my shoulder to see Justin running after me, a massive grin on his face. His hair was dripping wet, now that I had pushed him over in a sneak attack. He wasn't happy about it to say the least.
"Get back here! You ruined my hair!" he couldn't help but laugh as he caught up to me, throwing his arms around my soaking wet body. My shorts and t-shirt stuck to my legs and torso, clinging to me as if I'd never get them off. My hair wasn't soaked, but it was pretty wet. It had that unruly towel-dried look about it.
I laughed as my hands went up behind me, finding his neck and smoothing my way up to his dripping wet hair, running my fingers through it roughly. He chuckled softly, leaning over my shoulder to lay a few, gentle kisses on my neck. He took me by the hips and quickly swivelled me around to face him, swiftly holding me tight to his bare chest. He's lucky he can take his shirt off in public. Stupid boobs.
I giggled at my own mental joke, just before he gave me a grinning kiss. His lips were sweet and wet, tenderly brushing over mine. As usual, he took control, moving his lips with mine the way he wanted, dominating out battling tongues. I pulled back less than a centimetre, our lips still touching and eyes still closed as I spoke:
"No fair. I want to be in control" I whined softly, my hands twiddling the short hair at the nape of his neck. He gave me a gentle, lingering kiss.
"Too bad" he mumbled huskily, fingers tracing lines on the skin of my hips, exposed by my shorts hung low on my body.
I would have protested again when he pulled me back into another rough kiss, but his voice sounded so perfect and sexy, I didn't want to say anything. I wanted his voice to run through my mind and whisper in my ears for hours and hours on end.
He pulled back with a gentle grin, leaving me to pick up the picnic blanket and wrap it around my shoulders. "Now you'll be toasty warm" he chuckled, rubbing my shoulders gently.
"Well what about you?".
"I have you to hold" he smiled cheesily, before wrapping me in a massive bear hug, my head nuzzled underneath his chin. I grinned at the feel of his arms tensed around me, taught, hot muscle keeping me warm.
He kissed my head softly, hands clasped around my torso.
"I love you so much Drew" he mumbled into my red hair.
His words only made me grin all the more, and wrap my arms tightly around his waist.
"I love you too Justin".
I said it, and I meant it.
I meant it so, so much <3
